Training for the Generations

At a recent Infopeople workshop called “Checking Out the Generations”, I learned that Gen Xers (1965-1980) and Millenials (1981-1999) have an insatiable desire for learning of the kind that helps them succeed at their job or improves their skills in general. It’s more important as a motivator on the job than money. Don’t forget to offer training or other learning and growth opportunites to the Gen Xers and Millenials as part of your job retention strategy as the Traditionalists and Boomers retire.
