Tips for Coping with Changes in Management

Even if your library hasn’t gotten new leadership recently, chances are change may be just around the corner.

My favorite tip is asking your new boss these questions about handling differences of opinion:
• How do you want me to disagree with you?
• May I disagree with you in public?
• If overruled, may I come back and ask about an issue a second time?
