Election information

I’m a permanent absentee voter, so was busily completing my absentee ballot today and found some pretty nice resources that I thought I’d share.

  • Ballotpedia – this is a great site if you are looking for information on propositions. You’ll find info on elections all 50 states here. It also has links to other resources.
  • OpenSecrets.org – if you want to dig into campaign finance info, here’s your site! Use quick links or the excellent search tool to find the info you or your patrons need.
  • Project Vote Smart – this continues to be a hugely informative site, and along with information on candidates and ballot measures, it also has lots of campaign financing info.
  • Smart Voter – this is my favorite site, as it lists non-partisan info on national candidates, state propositions, local ballot measures, and also judiciary candidates.
